The AIClap-Light is a fascinating project that lets you control your lights with the power of claps! It utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller and Arduino code to bring this cool functionality to life. This project, available on
What is AIClap-Light?
AIClap Light is exactly what it sounds like: a system where you can turn your lights on or off simply by clapping. This project uses AI to recognize clap sounds and trigger the connected lights. It’s a fun and practical application of AI in everyday life.
Installation Steps:
To get AIClap-Light up and running, follow these simple steps:
- Set Up the Library: Unzip the library and place it in your Arduino libraries folder (usually
Documents/Arduino/libraries). - Run the Code: Open the
.inofile and install the code onto your ESP32.
Hardware Specifications:
- Microphone Model: INMP444 I2s microphone is used to detect the claps.
- Optimal Performance: The code is optimized for the best sample rate and depth, so changing these settings may cause issues.
Microphone Connections:
Here’s how to connect the microphone to your ESP32:
- WS: Connect to pin 25
- SD: Connect to pin 33
- SCK: Connect to pin 32
- L/R: Connect to Ground (GND)
